Dear Colleagues,

After a long break, we are pleased to inform you that the 12th Meeting of the International Society of Systemic Autoinflammatory Diseases (ISSAID) will take place in Toronto on May 15-18, 2023. May is a beautiful time to be in Toronto with long sunny days, sporting activities and cultural events.

The ISSAID meeting will provide an opportunity for paediatric and adult rheumatologists, immunologists, general paediatricians and internists, scientists and others with an interest in systemic autoinflammatory diseases to come together to share in new findings related to autoinflammation and to learn about recent advances. We will also focus on autoinflammation and gastrointestinal diseases. Students and trainees will also be welcomed. The theme for this meeting will be TRANSLATION to TREATMENT.

ISSAID 2023 will aim to gather experience on new treatment targets, gene therapies, updates on clinical innovations, classical and newly described autoinflammatory diseases, basic and translational science, and as well as gastroenterology as a special topic. Sessions will also be dedicated to interactive presentation of challenging cases and oral and poster communications It will also give the opportunity to share clinical experience. Most importantly, the 12th ISSAID meeting will be an inter-disciplinary, innovative meeting, where we aim to learn from our patients, colleagues, collaborators, and experts from other disciplines.

Preconference courses, led by the trainees and young scientists, will be held on May 15 and will offer exceptional learning and networking opportunities to the next generation of researchers and clinicians.
